Editing Services

Windhaven Publishing provides editing help with your manuscript. We can do "light" copy editing where we only check for grammar and punctuation. We can do a deeper editing, suggesting alternate word choices and restructuring of sentences. Or if you wish, we can get into more involved content editing, moving sections of the manuscript around to improve the flow of thoughts and ideas.

Manuscript Submission Preparation

Windhaven Publishing can help you prepare your manuscript for submission to a publisher. We can walk you through the process, giving you help with writing the Proposal, Chapter Summary, Sample Chapter, Cover Letter, etc.

Publishing with Windhaven Publishing

In the publishing of our own books and booklets, Windhaven Publishing targets a fairly narrow niche. Our publishing includes the following guidelines:

We publish addiction recovery literature for the LDS community.
Our literature is grounded in the 12 Steps as adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and other similar 12 Step programs.
Our literature is firmly based on recovery through the application of the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
We do not publish literature based on other approaches. While others may find benefit in other modalities, they are outside of our area of interest and expertise.

At present we are unable to fund publications from outside authors. If you have a manuscript or are contemplating writing one, we will be happy to talk with you about publishing your work. You will, however, need to furnish the costs of publication.
